A group of Uzbek oncologists began an international internship in oncology surgery, organized by the El-yurt Umidi Foundation in collaboration with the French Embassy in Uzbekistan. According to the results of an open competition, five specialists from leading medical institutions of Uzbekistan were able to improve their skills in Strasbourg and Paris with the participation of advanced oncology centers and medical universities in France. Among these specialists is the assistant of the Department of Oncology, Oncohematology and Radiation Oncology of the Tashkent State Technical University, Ph.D., oncomammonologist Talipov Orifjon Absamatillaevich.
The training program includes theoretical and practical modules on modern breast oncology surgery, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
The advanced training course was organized on the basis of a cooperation protocol signed between the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, and the National Academy of Surgery of this country, and will be held in Paris and Strasbourg until April 10 of this year.
