One of the main goals of Tashkent State Medical University is to train a new generation of doctors and scientists. To this end, it provides extensive support for multidisciplinary reforms and scientific research.
On 01.06.2026, the defense of the candidate of medical sciences dissertation of Tuychiev Otabek Dilshod, assistant professor of the Department of Oncology, Oncohematology and Radiation Oncology, Tashkent State Medical University, on the topic “Peculiarities of diagnosis and treatment results of esophageal cancer caused by Helicobacter pylori” was held.
During the speech, Otabek Dilshod oglu provided information about the role of Helicobacter pylori in the development of esophageal cancer. He provided information about the study of how the treatment of this pathogen affects the treatment process of esophageal cancer.
The opponents of this scientific work were heard, their questions were answered, and their suggestions were taken into account.
Then the doctoral student’s scientific supervisor, Head of the Department of Oncology, Oncohematology and Radiation Oncology, Prof. Yusupbekov A.A. spoke.
Answers were given to questions from representatives of the scientific council gathered in the auditorium, and requests and suggestions were taken into account.
An anonymous survey was conducted among the members of the Academic Council, and the defense of the scientific work was unanimously approved.
